This time it's different
Leaving Germany is not the same as leaving Denmark almost ten years ago. Back then, we were excited to try something new, because we'd had enough of Århus and Denmark, and we were looking forward to a new country and new experiences.
This time, it's totally different. I'm oscillating between excitement of starting something new and sadness of leaving the country and people that gave us so much.
I guess, it's a nice problem to have, but somehow that doesn't make it any easier.
It's still not a foodie blog...
... but we stumbled upon a Korean street food joint, and we had to try Korean corn dogs. They taste exactly how they look--totally over the top.
Thank you, Frankfurt!
We're in our favorite city for what is likely to be our last visit for the foreseeable future.
## All we want to say is this
Thank you, Frankfurt for being kind to us. Thank you for the great food, and all the wonderful experiences. We love you, and we hope to see you again!
## This is not a foodie blog, but...
Of course, we had to visit our top two eateries: Mr. Lee Korean restaurant and Lezizel Mantí.
At Mr. Lee, I wanted to try Kimchi Jongol, but it turned out to be a two-person dish. So I panic-ordered Kimsambok, which was a pleasant win: it was absolutely delicious.
And it goes without saying that mantí were as good as ever.
We're not quite there yet
We're still more than a month of packing and panicking away from our move back to Denmark. But I've decided to set up this very microblog already now to chronicle our adventures in moving from Germany to Denmark and renovating our newly bought house.
